Have the two rings examined.  Take the rings back and hold one ring in each hand.  Announce that you making a psychic connection as you rub the two rings together.  Lower one ring to the bottom of the other and give it a spin.  To everyone's amazement, the bottom ring spins and remains mysteriously attached to the upper ring!
At your command the psychic connection is broken the the bottom ring drops into your waiting hand.
 
The rings can then be passed out for examination once again.
