The performer displays an empty square shaped tube to the spectators. The tube contains six holes, three each on opposite sides. He also displays three silks of different colors. He pushes them through the holes from side to side and they emerge from the holes on the opposite side.
He shows the inside of the tube by turning the opening on top towards the spectators. The inside of the tube is totally filled by the silks. The performer now takes a large lighted candle and passes it through the tube, as if penetrating the silks. As the candle passes through the tube, both ends of the silks are clearly viible outside the holes.
After passing the candle through the tube he removes the silks from their holes and displays them clearly. They are unharmed and have no trace of injury of any kind!
