This book was compiled from the original  75 Tricks with a Stripper Deck by Al Stevenson along with original additions by Magic-Ian.
The Stripper or Taper deck has been one of the few decks of cards that has remained in every magic shop and most magicians have used it at least once in their magical career.
 
The book shows the classic use and the unusual plus a few subtleties not often used, but are very effective.
 
THE BASIC TRICK - Spread the cards in a fan at your finger tips and have the spectator pick a card.  Square up the deck as you instruct the spectator to look at the card.  Open the fan again and have the spectator return the card to the deck.  Shuffle (fairly) the cards and have the spectator tap the top of the deck.  As the spectator removes the top card from the deck, it is seen to be the chosen card (no skill required).
 
Trick #103 - Undercover Cop - Have a spectator select a card and then shuffle the deck.  Cover the deck with a colorful hanky and have the spectator cut the deck through the hanky.  Then hold his half with the hanky and put the remaining half of the deck aside.  Now remove the hanky to show that the spectator has cut the deck to his chosen card!
